Our process is simple and straightforward, designed to ensure that we capture your vision for the book. Here are the steps:
The authors share their story text and the scene(s) they want to be illustrated for each page. The author's input is valuable in helping to capture their vision for the illustrations. However, our team of experts can assist the author in generating ideas for the illustrations, if necessary.
Please let us know your preferred book size from the following standard options and another size also available. 8X10, 8.5X8.5, 8.5X11
Please select an illustration style from our portfolio that you want us to follow for your book and you can share your preferred style.
Please let us know how you want your book to be printed, whether you prefer the text to be on the same page as the illustration or on an adjacent page or a double-spread illustration.
We require a 50% advance payment and the remaining 50% after the sketches are completed and approved. (We are open to discussing payment terms and will work with you to come up with mutually agreed terms)
We will send you the first sketch for approval and feedback. We will modify the sketch until it meets your approval. Once the first sketch is approved, we will work on the other sketches to minimize modifications.
Once all sketches are done, we will send them to you again for final approval before we proceed to color. After approval of the sketches, we will begin work on color 1 and send the same to you for approval. Once it approves, we will move to work on other colors.
You will retain 100% copyrights ownership of your work and we will provide you with all the necessary files for your book.

This is the first time that I, representing an author, have worked with Daisy Blue Publishing. I came across them by accident and thought I would give them a try. I was not disappointed. They managed to create draft sketches based on the storyline and the suggestions given as to what was required, with very little effort. The images were produced within the time limits set and the cost was very reasonable. With only one very minor amendment, done quickly, the result overall has been a working relationship that has been agreeable and satisfactory. Both myself and the author are delighted with the finished look of the coloured images and are now awaiting the launch of the book, a first for this author.
