Hi. My name is Tim Scott and I am the author of ‘Destiny Uncharted’, an exciting novel about young men and women growing up in the United States in the turbulent 1970’s. This is the second novel I have self-published and I needed to find a new publisher because I fell into the clutches of one the ‘vanity presses’ owned by a Big 5 publisher. The vanity press publisher did put out a decent product, but the cost was exorbitant and they did virtually no marketing for me.

I chose Daisy Blue Publishing to self-publish this novel because the price structure for the necessary components of getting a novel into print was much more reasonable. I heard about them through Linked In, which is a fair way to pick up a contact, but I knew I had to do my due diligence before doing business with them.

I checked out their website, daisybluepublishing.com, and saw that they had a good roster of current authors. I went to Amazon to review these authors’ availability, and they all checked out.

Then I had an hour Zoom conference call with Daisy Blue headquarters and their marketing representative in Minnesota. After the call, I was satisfied that Daisy Blue could do the job for me – and they do it ALL; from editing and formatting, to cover design and building an author website, to pricing and marketing. And they do everything at 1/3 the cost of what I paid for my first novel.

That includes an audiobook which I think will greatly enhance my sales.

They managed to create draft sketches based on the storyline and the suggestions given as to what was required, with very little effort. I used them for marketing first and they actually bothered to inform me very week what they did and what happened in consequence. Very helpful to me. Thy are to be wholly trusted. Questions were answered promtly. I then used them to update my website which they did well, to my taste and alterations were no problem. I was never made to feel a nuisance when I wanted changes.
